A Message From The Director

Directors Message

Working with our educators, support staff, trustees, community partners and parents, we are committed to the success of every student. Our work is driven by our strategic plan – Success for All – that aims to improve student achievement, ensure equity, inclusion and well being, and enhance engagement, accountability and sustainability.

Through our collaboration and innovative approach to teaching and learning, we help our students discover and grow. From the basics of literacy and numeracy, to problem solving and critical thinking, we help students develop the skills they will need to reach their full potential in our ever-changing world. We promote respect and responsibility in a culture of caring, compassion and inclusion and work hard to support the unique needs, strengths and challenges of every student. We offer a range of environments to support all students in their learning and to help nurture their emotional, mental and physical requirements.

The Limestone District School Board offers a wide variety of programs in the academics, the arts and technology as well as Full-Day Kindergarten, French Immersion, International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement. Experiential learning is cultivated through expanded opportunities such as our well known Focus Programs, Specialist High Skills Major, Co-operative Education, Dual Credits and Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Programs.

Through our programs and our dedicated and talented staff, we remain focused on our collective mission: to prepare students within safe and inclusive environments to embrace a changing world as lifelong learners and informed, responsible citizens.

Our students are our reason for being. It is my pleasure to serve them, and this district.
